In terme weaving the pattern is carried entirely by the warp, producing crisp, ribbon-like bands of horns and stars on a dark ground — woven in strips and joined into a runner.

History

Terme strips furnished the yurt as bands, bags and runners. The technique demands careful counting and is among the most respected of nomadic flatweaves.
